What’s it like?
Surrounded by more than 300,000 palm trees, Elche encompasses the entire range of superb attractions that the Costa Blanca has to offer. Visitors and residents can take their pick from history, natural riches, beaches, culture and traditions in this modern, thriving and expanding city. The Moors planted the palms which led 11th century travellers to compare Elche to the Holy city Mecca.
