Spain leads the world in tourism-related searches

Spain has enjoyed a memorable summer, and it's not over yet...

When it comes to tourism, Spain is the world’s leading heavyweight.

Bombarded with the many polls, surveys, statistics and official data available on all things tourism-related, it can sometimes be difficult to determine exactly which country leads the way in certain metrics.

France, for example, constantly likes to claim it is the world’s ‘most-visited’ country, but that is largely in part due to its location between the UK and central Europe and Spain, meaning many people ‘pass through’ France rather than outright visit it…

Interestingly, both the USA and Australia are more popular than Spain in actual real terms, but Pack Send admit that Brits who are moving to Spain might not always turn to a professional remover to get the job done, such is the comparatively short distance between the UK and Spain…

Marbella introduces world’s first revolving solar houses

Exterior image of the Sunhouse360º

The Sunhouse360º can be programmed to turn as often, or as little, as you want.

In the broadest sense, the entire world is solar-powered. Everything on the planet draws its energy from the sun, and everything that has ever been – rocks, oceans, forests, the industrial revolution, the Beatles, Benedict Cumberbatch – owes its existence to the sun.

But solar power in today’s world usually means solar panels, and Spain’s government has been irritatingly regressive in this issue, introducing recently a so-called “sun tax” that actively appears to punish homeowners who choose to install solar panels on their rooftops…
